Worship seems to be the easiest way to get into the presence of God. (Even unchurched people are drawn by true, sincere worship.) The Bible says, “The Father seeks such to worship Him.”
What is God looking for? He is looking for people who are seeking Him.
The reason we were created was to fellowship with God. God created the earth and everything in it, but He chose us to have a relationship with.
- Worship is a two-way street between God and us.
- Worship is giving and receiving. During worship we talk to God and He talks to us.
- We fellowship with God through worship, prayer and the Word of God, but worship is showing our love to Him.
For kids it’s important to emphasis that worship happens at church, but not only at church. It also doesn’t depend on us being able to carry a tune or play an instrument.
It’s our voice, coming from our heart, giving our adoration to our Father.
True worship from our heart can happen anywhere.
Many times, I have heard my granddaughter playing or coloring and singing a song to the Lord. She is fellowshipping with the Father God. She is worshipping Him.
To answer the question, “Where is the best place to worship God?” It is anywhere you are. Take a moment. Tell Father God how much you love Him.
