Adoption is the heart of God. I have always agreed with this thought, but I don’t think I understood it until I adopted my son. For those who have biological children and choose to adopt, the impact of adoption is no less significant than the impact on those who pursue adoption because of infertility. […]
We have all heard this scripture many times, but do we really believe it. “Without faith it’s impossible to please God” Hebrews 11:6 Do you believe that it’s impossible to please God without faith? This continues my plethora of stupid things I’ve done in ministry. I hope you can learn from me but at the very least laugh at me. I remember serving at a church and taking kids to camp one summer several years ago. I had asked one of our long time helpers/teachers to cover the lesson […]
I was a Children’s Pastor for 15 years before I understood the primary purpose of my job. I thought the main thing was teaching kids the Word of God, but really the main thing is being a conduit of the love of the Father to the kids that you teach. I still remember the […]
What do you want to be? Isn’t that a question that we ask little kids? And their response is usually something like, “A fireman!’ or “A policeman!” or “A ballerina!” But, as a Christian it is important to realize that we have to ask ourselves this question. We are never too young or too old to […]
